A man purchases turtles from a market and returns them to the sea.

Fortunately, two magnificent sea turtles intended for Papua New Guinea’s gourmet dining establishment were spared.

They were acquired from a nearby food market by Arron Culling and his colleague Mark, who then returned them to the water, where they belonged.

Culling posted on Facebook on Friday, saying, “Found these at the neighborhood market.” “I bought them for $50, drove 5 kilometers, and then let them go.”

These turtles are not the first ones Culling and his colleague have rescued. They’ve already saved roughly ten people.

There are seven different kinds of sea turtles in the globe, and almost all of them are in risk of extinction since most places still allow for marine turtle fishing.
